When I purchased my 2011 Mac Mini with Lion back in August of 2011, I wanted to keep compatibility with my iPhoto ’09 library on my then Snow Leopard 2009 MacBook Pro. So I downgraded my iPhoto ’11 on the Mac Mini to iPhoto ’09 and it is currently at version 8.1.2, as is my MacBook Pro, which I subsequently upgraded to Lion as well.
iPhoto: to adjust the photo display size, the slide bar is located at the lower left corner of the interface. And to view photos in iPhoto, you need to double-click the photos to open it. Photos: to solve the inconvenience of iPhoto, Photos uplifts the slide bar from the lower left corner to the upper left corner and add a ’Play’ icon next to the share button at the upper right corner.
